I just don't think that the economy is that bad that you would have to take your whole family out! A black man in Cali killed himself and his entire family. A wife, an 8 yr old daughter, 5 yr old twin girls and 2 yr old twin boys. So many miracles in one family,it was not enough to go on in life. It trips me out how our society is so caught up with money. I mean if I lost everything I would just be glad that God spared my life (mentally & physically). Yes I like things, but I do not feel that they define who I am.

P.S. They need to send Baby Grace's mother to Guantanamo Bay before they shut it down. so she can be punished like they did that poor baby. No sympathy for a woman who puts a man before her child any day ever!!!!!!!!! B_ _ _ H!!!!!! fill in the blank

I know, Iknow it's been a while. The Obama Fest is Officially over or just got started!!!!! The verdict is in on Michelle Obama's inaugural ball gown: 80% of the people I asked if they liked said Nay. 20% said Yay. Well no one's perfect. I happened to like the dress. She has 4 yrs to show us her First Lady style. She has already been a trendsetter in her own right! I have a client who thinks she has been totally out of order with her style of dress from day one. Saying that she should never go sleeveless or wear clingy cotton fabrics. I actually had to stop the convo because it was getting too heated. All and all i feel like at some point someone has to break the mold and indeed the entire Obama family is doing that. I am so proud to be an american right now. This is an age of a true America. Like Katt Williams sad the more haters you have shows just how much of an affect you have on other people.

I am really trying to fight the battle of the bulge. I feel Oprah when she says that it is hard. I mean it can either go 2 ways after you have achieved your goal: 1. You are so excited that you eat in celebration or 2. You get so caught up in life's everyday ups and downs that you get derailed. There is a #3 but it is so hard to stay there (this is having the motivation and will power to make this working out and eating well thing a part of everyday life). Only the grace of GOD can get me through this. I know that I am really not that big but my family makes a really big deal out of it. But I am not doing this for them. This is totally for me. Plus I have about 6 pair of jeans that I paid $100+ for and I really want to wear them and refuse to purchase a larger size! As for my family and others who have a problem with my weight I know that it is hard to understand but I have to learn to love my self a little more and stop taking on other peoples issues. I am so guilty of that.

Well, I have decided to try this blogging thing. I really feel like I have enough to say that constitutes a blog. My thoughts on fashion, beauty, health and wellness (losing the gut), spirituality, politics (never really paid attention to detail of it all til Obama era began), and relationships. I will probably make comments about my work (the stylist) as it is a major focal point of my life. I have made many friends @ work. I truly love what I do!!!!
